Statement-making, playful and built to last.
The Mochila Arhuaca is an admired artisan bag made by the Arhuaco people from Colombia. This bag is very practical for everyday use as it is very spacious, durable, and resistant to all types of weather. It is made from 100% virgin wool.
The Arhuaco reservation inhabits the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a ridge that is located in northern Colombia. This specific bag was crafted in the Cesar region, by a women's co-op whose aim is to keep the tradition alive for generations to come.
These artisanal bags are worn by both men and women.
Each mochila bag is hand-made and takes about 20 days to craft; therefore each bag is completely unique.
