The mochila that has traveled the world.

This piece was an Oprah favorite when she visited the Colombian Amazon. Check out her O Magazine cover wearing this truly authentic piece.

The pattern in this mochila represents a stone that can be found in the Sierra Nevada of Colombia; it is called Sarancua, and can only be found there. Learn more about the Sierra in our blog

This is the traditional mochila of the Kankuamo indigenous reserve. It is made from 100% fique, considered that natural fiber of Colombia; mainly known for its strength and durability. These bags are very functional, practical, and easy for everyday use. They are very resistant to all types of weather and can be worn by both men and women all year long. Wear this piece across your body, or on one shoulder.

The Kankuama women weaver behind this bag is called Aura Montero, an award-winning master artisan from Atanquez, Colombia. Doña Aura was given the Gold Medal of Honor by Artesanías de Colombia
