A truly special story.
100% paja tetera fiber crafted in Colombia. This fiber grows in the region of Cauca, an area today that has been taken over by the revolutionary armed forces.
The story behind the family that crafts these bags is very special as they come from one of the most impoverished indigenous groups of the country. They employ age-old techniques into these delightful pieces with wisdom and strength. The family today of 14 women have moved to the capital of Colombia, Bogota, as they have been displaced by the guerrilla. Lets support these women get ahead.
